We work with a large scale of different materials, depending on the request and needs of our client. For something a bit different we recently used our waterjet cutting method to cut slabs out of carbon logs.
Here is a breakdown of what the project was about.
Client: Cortela Carbon
What the project involved: Cutting slabs out of 750mm long and 250mm diameter round carbon logs.
Material used: Carbon
Process used: Waterjet cutting
Who provided materials? All materials was supplied by the customer.
Anything interesting to note about the project? We created a special jig to hold the huge carbon log nice and tight in the waterjet tank. The slabs we cut are about 45-50mm wide.
